At Transplant Alliance, we understand the financial burden that a family endures of major medical expense such as an organ transplant. During our personal transplant journey, we met numerous others that were on their own transplant journey. The common discussions are always about being listed, the call when a donor was found, the amount of medication and how life is progressing. Sadly, some of the people have another story; The financial toll the surgery and post care are taking. It is always the same complaint, the co-pay and out of pocket expenses. We feel it is our job to help those people. We fundraise, we conduct charitable gaming and we grant funds to help with those expenses. We feel it is our personal civic duty to help. After all someone said YES to being an organ donor and that person saved our family. That person is the reason we are here today to help others.
